gettext.sh(1) gettext-runtime gettext.sh(1) NAME gettext.sh SYNOPSIS This executable is part of the package 'gettext-runtime': Tools for Native Language Support (NLS) Documentation for SUSE Linux Enterprise is available online at: <http://www.suse.com/documentation/sles11/> and also installed on the system at /usr/share/doc/manual/ Additional documentation for a specific package may be available at /usr/share/doc/packages/gettext-runtime/ "" DESCRIPTION This package contains the intl library as well as tools that ease the creation and maintenance of message catalogs. It allows you to extract strings from source code. The supplied Emacs mode (po-mode.el) helps editing these catalogs (called PO files, for portable object) and adding translations. A special compiler turns these PO files into binary catalogs.
