NAME
     fabs — floating-point absolute value function

SYNOPSIS

     double
     fabs(double x);

DESCRIPTION
     The fabs() function computes the absolute value of a floating-point num‐
     ber x.

RETURN VALUES
     The fabs() function returns the absolute value of x.

STANDARDS
     The fabs() function conforms to ANSI X3.159-1989 (“ANSI C89”).
