NAME
       evweb logviewer - lists logs, and displays the details of a log.

SYNOPSIS
DESCRIPTION
       evweb  low level log viewer provides an interface to view the low level
       logs. One or more low level records are	related	 to  high  level  WBEM
       Indication.  An EMS event contains low level log details, however, such
       detail is not provided as a part of the high level WBEM indication.  By
       means  of  the  low  level  log viewer, user can view the low level log
       details. Each log Entry is uniquely identified by  a  Log  ID  and  Log
       Index.

       The options and are mutually exclusive.	These options can be used with
       other switches such as and

   Options
       The command supports the following options:

       Specifies the age of a log. The age consists of a number and  the  unit
       of age separated by a colon
	      .	 Space	can  also be used to separate number and unit, but the
	      entire string ( number and unit ) must be enclosed within double
	      quotes  (	 ).  switch is mutually exclusive with switch.	switch
	      is not applicable to option . The possible values for unit are:

	      months
	      days
	      years

	      The default unit is Following lists the examples for  using  the

	      The following three commands have the same meaning:

       Used  to	 specify  the  number  of logs to be displayed. This switch is
       applicable only to
	      option.

       Specifies whether the output of the
	      option must include the low level details of a  log  along  with
	      the  summary  information.   You	can  use this switch only with
	      option.  Following are the examples of the option:

       Displays the details of a log identified by a log id.
	      You can use the following switches with the option:

	      ·

	      ·

	      Following are the examples of the option:

       Specifes the Log Id of the log.

       Specifies the Log Type of the log.

       Displays a list of logs and their summary.
	      The summary is extracted from the	 log  database	based  on  the
	      search  criteria.	  You  can use the following switches with the
	      option:

	      ·

	      ·
	      ·
	      ·
	      ·
	      ·
	      ·
	      ·
	      ·
	      ·

	      Following are the examples of the option:

	      ·
	      ·

       Specifies the Log Index. Each  log  record  may	contain	 one  or  more
       errors. Corresponding to each of these errors, there will a Log Index.

       Used  to specify the offset from where onwards start fetching the logs.
       This switch is applicable only to
	      option.  For example, assume that there are  200	logs  and  you
	      want  to	view all the logs after 150 then offset number will be
	      150.

	      ·

       To show the hex dump of the log buffer  for  the	 specified  log.  This
       switch can be used only with
	      option.  To use this switch, you must specify switch also.

       Specifies  the sorting coulmn name. User can sort the logs in ascending
       or descending order by using
	      or options respectively.

       Specifies date and time. Date-time can be represented  by  an  operator
       followed by the date-time values. You can use the following operators:

	      equal to
	      less than equal to
	      greater than equal to
	      between

	      There  is	 no  default  value of operator , so user must specify
	      operator.	 Only one operator can be used at one time. To use the
	      operator,	 specify the lower and upper date-time values. For all
	      other operators, you must specify only date-time value. The for‐
	      mat to specify date-time value is

	      month
	      date
	      year

	      Use a colon to separate an operator and a date-time value. Use a
	      comma to separate two date-time values.  You must	 specify  only
	      one switch in a command.

	      Following lists the examples for using the switch:

	      switch is mutually exclusive with
		 switch.

       Specifies the Device Id of the log.

       Specifies the Device Type of the log. This option is case sensitive

EXAMPLES
	      Lists all the logs

	      Lists all the logs along with the low level details of each log

	      Lists all logs with LogId as 42.

	      Sort the logs based on Time of occurance of the logs.

	      Lists  all  the  logs  in the last one month with deviceId=3 and
	      logType=Server

		     Lists all logs that occurred after 10th Feb 2006

		     Details of a log with logId=15 and logIndex=3

		     Details of a log with logId=15

		     Details of a log with logId=15 and	 logIndex=2  and  also
		     view the hex dump of the buffer.
