NAME
er_mpipp - command used to preprocess MPI VampirTrace data from an
       experiment

SYNOPSIS
	er_mpipp -V
	er_mpipp [ options ] infile

DESCRIPTION
The er_mpipp command processes VampirTrace output written in OTF from
an MPI	experiment, and converts it to the internal form used by the
       Analyzer.

infile is the OTF file written by VampireTrace.	If the infile is omit‐
ted, report the error and exit.

Under normal circumstances, users will not invoke er_mpipp directly; it
is automatically invoked during the data collection process. It may be
invoked if the data collection terminated abnormally before er_mpipp is
       called.

OPTIONS
-V Print the current version. Do not examine further arguments,
	      and do no further processing.

       -l logfile
Append version information, and any error messages, in XML for‐
mat, to the named file. If the	option	is omitted, the log
	      information will go to stdout.

       -o outfile
Write output data to the named file. If the option is omitted,
write to a file named mpview.dat3 in the current directory.

-v Print verbose output to aid in debugging.
