EBUS(4) OpenBSD Programmer's Manual (SPARC64) EBUS(4)

NAME
ebus - introduction to SPARC EBus bus support

SYNOPSIS
     ebus* at pci?
     ebus* at mainbus0

DESCRIPTION
The ebus bus is designed to provide the ability to put ISA and
traditional Intel-style peripherals in a SPARC based system with a
minimal amount of glue logic. Typically, it is implemented in the PCIO
IC from SME, which also implements an hme(4) compatible PCI network
device (`network'). The ebus has four DMA channels, similar to the DMA
seen in the esp(4) SCSI DMA.

OpenBSD provides support for the following devices:

	audioce(4) SPARC64 EBus CS4231 audio device
	auxio(4) SPARC64 auxiliary I/O
	bbc(4) SPARC64 BootBus Controller
	beeper(4) console annunciator
	clock(4) Real-time clock
	com(4) serial communications interface
	comkbd(4) serial keyboard driver
	comms(4) serial mouse driver
	led(4) SPARC64 LED driver
	lom(4) lights out management
	lpt(4) parallel port driver
	pcfiic(4) Phillips PCF8584 I2C controller
pckbc(4) PC (ISA) keyboard controller driver
	pmc(4) power management controller
	power(4) power button
	sab(4) Infineon SAB82532 (ESCC2) serial communications driver
	uperf(4) performance counters driver
wbsd(4) Winbond W83L518D/W83L519D SD memory card interface
