DOS2BSD(1) BSD Reference Manual DOS2BSD(1)

NAME
dos2bsd - convert a DOS file to a UNIX file

SYNOPSIS
     dos2bsd [input [output]]

DESCRIPTION
The dos2bsd utility converts a DOS text file into a UNIX text file. This
is done by removing the ^M from the end of each line.

By default, dos2bsd reads from standard input and writes to standard out-
put. If one argument is specified, dos2bsd reads from that file and
writes to standard output. If two arguments are specified, dos2bsd reads
from the file specified by the first argument, and writes to the file
     specified by the second argument.

The dos2bsd utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.
