CXM(4) BSD Kernel Interfaces Manual CXM(4)

NAME
cxm — Conexant iTVC MPEG Coder

SYNOPSIS
To compile this driver into the kernel, place the following lines in your
     kernel configuration file:

	   device iicbus
	   device iic
	   device iicbb
	   device cxm

DESCRIPTION
The cxm driver provides support for the PCI video capture on the Haup‐
pauge PVR-250/350. It uses the bktr(4) and Meteor driver ioctls.

Note that in order for the cxm(4) driver to work properly, the necessary
firmware files have to be extracted from the driver CD-ROM prior to com‐
piling the kernel. The tool necessary to do this can be found in
     /usr/src/tools/multimedia/cxm/extract_fw.
