CVXHANG(1)CVXHANG(1)NAMEcvxhang - create a process in a hung state and inform requestor's window
SYNOPSIScvxhang [-signal hostname window] [-nonX pid] [-name target_name] target
[args]
DESCRIPTIONcvxhang is used by the WorkShop Debugger and Performance tools to
instantiate the target process with its optional args and leave it
waiting just before executing its first instruction. A debugger, or any
other tool, may then attach to the process and take control of its
execution.
If the -signal argument is given, once the process is created, cvxhang
informs the window of the WorkShop Debugger requesting the creation, as
given by the optional hostname and window on the command line, of the
target process' PID.
If the optional -nonX argument is given, the process whose pid is
supplied will be sent SIGUSR1, and can determine that the target is ready
to be attached.
If the optional -name argument is given, argv[0] for the target process
will be set to target_name.
