NAME
       constype - print type of Sun console

SYNOPSIS
       constype

DESCRIPTION
       constype	 prints	 on  the  standard output the Sun code for the type of
       display that the /dev/fb device is. Sample outputs include:

	    bw2	      Black and White Framebuffer
	    cg?	      Colour Graphics display, where ? is 1-5, 8, 12
	    gx	      Sun GX (cg6) Graphics Accelerator
	    ns?	      Not Sun display - where ? is A-C
	    sx	      Sun SX (cg14) Graphics Accelerator
	    SUNWffb   Sun Creator 3D (ffb) Graphics Accelerator
	    SUNWm64   Sun PGX8, PGX24 or PGX64 Frame Buffer

       This is useful in determining startup values and	 defaults  for	window
       systems.	 If the device supports the VIS_GETIDENTIFIER ioctl, the value
       returned from the ioctl is the value printed by constype.

       Not tested on all monitor types
