NAME
     amparse - extract information from an availmon report

SYNOPSIS
     /usr/etc/amparse fieldname [ filename ]

DESCRIPTION
     amparse parses an availmon(5) report and extracts information according
     to the specified fieldname.  The availmon report is read from filename,
     or from standard input if no filename is given.

     Only one fieldname can be specified at a time:

     -SYSID	     System serial number

     -HOSTNAME	     System hostname or internet address

     -PREVSTART	     Previous start time, including seconds since Jan 1, 1970,
		     and local time

     -PREVSTART1     Previous start time in the form of seconds since Jan 1,
		     1970

     -PREVSTART2     Previous start time in the form of local time

     -EVENT	     Event code and event time, including seconds since Jan 1,
		     1970, and local time

     -EVENT1	     Event time in the form of seconds since Jan 1, 1970

     -EVENT2	     Event time in the form of local time

     -EVENTC	     Event code

     -STOP	     Stop code and stop time, including seconds since Jan 1,
		     1970, and local time.  For old availmon reports

     -STOP1	     Stop time in the form of seconds since Jan 1, 1970.  For
		     old availmon reports

     -STOP2	     Stop time in the form of local time.  For old availmon
		     reports

     -STOPC	     Stop code.	 For old availmon reports

     -UPTIME	     Estimated system uptime, used for system hangs

     -START	     Restart time, including seconds since Jan 1, 1970, and
		     local time

     -AMRVERSION     Availmon report version number

     -SUMMARY	     Event summary

     -UNAME	     System uname information

     -ICRASH	     icrash report, including FRU analyzer results

     -SYSLOG	     Important system syslog messages

     -HINV	     System hinv information

     -VERSIONS	     System eoe.sw.base version and patches information

     -GFXINFO	     System graphics device information
