NAME
     amic - AMI MegaRAID disk array controller driver

SYNOPSIS
     amic* at pci?

DESCRIPTION
     The amic driver provides the lowest level interface to AMI MegaRAID Disk
     Array Controllers. Specfically the amic driver:

     1	  Discovers and attaches the hardware.

     2	  Finds logical disk units on the controllers and allows the child
	  amir driver to discover and attach them. An instance of the child
	  driver is instantiated for each logical unit.

     3	  Manages resources which instances of the the child driver will be
	  contending for.

     4	  Dispatches interrupts to instances of the child drivers.

SUPPORTED HARDWARE
     This driver supports MegaRAID PCI SCSI Disk Array Controller models 412,
     418, 428, 434, 438, 466, 467, 490, 762.
